Stampin’ Up! Ornate Thanks Z-Fold!

Stampin’ Up! Ornate Thanks Z-Fold!

Hey there! Today I have a z-fold card to share created with the Ornate Garden Suite again!

Even though Rococo Rose is not one of the colors listed on the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper package, I sure can see it in this print! I started with a z-fold base of Old Olive, added the Ornate Garden Specialty on the front fold, then started adding the intricately scrolled layers of Rococo Rose and Whisper White!

I stamped "THANKS" with Mossy Meadow ink on the white layer before cuttin with the Ornate Layers die. After cutting I added the Rococo Rose scrolling and the Gilded Gems.

These dies are incredible! After cutting I used my Take Your Pick Die Brush and the Paper-Piercing end to easily remove all of the little pieces!

Inside I again stamped the sentiment first, then cut it with the largest of the Ornate Layers Dies. I used my Stamparatus to be able to re-stamp the image if needed to get a good ink color concentration. I inked the flowers for the lower corners with Rococo Rose and Mossy Meadow Stampin' Write Markers. I added matching Ornate Garden Specialty to the envelope flap to further coordinate.

Stampin’ Up! Ornate Garden and a Daisy!

Stampin’ Up! Ornate Garden and a Daisy!

Hey there! I have another card created with the Ornate Garden Suite to share with you today.  When this suite arrived on my doorstep, the first thing I did was open the package of Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper. The first print that caught my eye was this one with the happy little daisies! I pulled out a package of Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes and both Daisy punches and went to work!

After embossing a So Saffron layer with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder and adding on a strip of the designer paper, I punched two large and two small daisies from Whisper White card stock. I could have left them flat, but instead I crumpled them all up into tight little balls. I opened them but did not smooth them flat, then layered them together with liquid glue. I added a Gilded Gem to the center, then adhered to the card with more liquid glue.

I layered the Classic Label-punched greeting from Ornate Thanks onto a strip of Old Olive die-cut with an Ornate Layers Die.

I kept the inside simple, stamping the sentiment with Old Olive and the daisy with Soft Suede.
