Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Nativity Bridge Card!

Hey there! Today I'm sharing a "bridge" card, created with the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer paper I used here.

I created this card before I discovered Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder retired, so please substitute Night of Navy or any color you choose in your mind's eye!

I will include the dimensions for this "bridge-fold" at the bottom of this post along with a link to my free directions.

The Nativity Dies make cutting out the Peaceful Nativity images a snap!

I love the way the Nativity star die cuts and embosses at the same time!

I punched the ends of the greeting strip with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch, then dragged the edges directly on the Versamark pad before heat embossing.

I added a layer to the center of the back for signature. This card folds flat to fit into a medium envelope!

Dimensions:

Card Base: 8 1/4" x 4 1/4" , scored at 1 3/8", 2 3/4", 5 1/2", and 6 7/8"

Side panels: 1 1/8" x 4" – need two

Center layer: 2 1/2" x 4"

Bridge: 1 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Copper layer: 1" x 5 1/4"

Sentiment layer: "scant" 3/4" x 4"

Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Nativity Bridge Card!

Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Nativity!

Hey there! I'm back again today with another Peaceful Nativity card. I love this bundle! It's been hard to put down! My card today was created with a center panel of Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Paper that is a returning favorite from the 2019 Holiday Catalog.

This paper is accented with copper foil accents, so I used Copper Foil Sheets and Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder with Night of Navy card stock to go along with it!

I love the starry sky look of this Brightly Gleaming Specialty print, so I used the star from the Nativity dies to cut and emboss the Christmas star.

I punched the ends of the greeting labels with the Banners Pick A Punch. I created the copper accents with the tiniest Nativity die and scraps of Copper Foil.

I kept the inside simple with more copper heat embossing and narrow scrap strips along the sides.

Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Nativity Diorama!

Hey there! I actually created today's card before I made the gate fold/stable doors card I shared here, but shared that one first!

A diorama is a bit more complicated than a gate fold, and longer when pressed flat, so I'm going to try with different dimensions to create one to fit our envelopes.

The diorama has three levels: front frame, middle to add the stable, and the back wall to adhere the Holy family.

All stamping is with Early Espresso and colored with Stampin' Blends, my fav for coloring!

The Nativity dies star cuts and embosses the Gold Foil.

I cut the greeting with an Ornate Frames die, then cut another from Gold Foil. I cut it in half to "stretch" to fit behind the greeting label.

This card folds flat to fit in a business envelope.

Dimensions:

Front and back: 8 1/2" x 3", scored @ 2" & 6 1/2"

Middle: 6 1/2" x 3", scored at 1" & 5 1/2"
