Here's the projects my Friday night hostess, Heather, chose from my display samples for her class:
First, a Punchy Santa. I actually received this card from my upline-upline-upline, Felicia, a few years ago. I've had it in my stash of cards from friends. I found it earlier this fall and decided it was time to showcase it for my stampers. It uses several of our circle punches: 1 3/8", 1", 3/4", and 1/2". The stamp on his tassel is from "Winter Post", and his cheeks and nose are sponged with Real Red ink. We used the white gel pen for the "sparkle" in his eyes!

This was a four project class, and here was our second project using "Scenic Season". After stamping the trees with Night of Navy ink, we used the 1 3/4" circle punch to punch out a "mask" from a post-it note for the moon, and we tore a piece of copy paper, let 2-way glue air-dry to post-it note consistency for the mask for the snow. We then brayered Bordering Blue ink over it all, sponged the edges and the tree "shadows" with Night of Navy ink, and then added Dazzling Diamonds glitter with the 2-way glue pen!

This card was made with "Holy Triptych" and "Christ is Born". You probably can't see it very well, but we used Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint around the image with a sponge dauber.

Our final project for the evening was a CASE of a card I received in a monthly mail-in swap I participate in when I can. I love doing this swap because it allows me to have fresh ideas each month for my stampers to get inspiration from. This card was fun to make! We used the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder and the Big Shot for the Old Olive background, and the cute Holiday Mini catalog set, "Berry Christmas"!

Well, that's it for tonight! I need to go put my Sunday dinner in the crockpot! This next week is going to be crazy-busy: party in Marion Monday night, party in Harrisburg Tuesday night, two sessions of the "Elegant Ornaments" Class in Salem on Wednesday, a booth at the Mt Vernon Teacher's Conference on Thursday and Friday, "Elegant Ornaments" Class at my house on Friday night, I'm helping with Jessica Hollis Photography PTO fundraiser sale day on Saturday morning, then the final "Elegant Ornaments" class at my house on Saturday afternoon! I hope I make it!
Ta for now!

Carol, your cards are all so very beautiful! Thanks for the wonderful pics on your blog! You certainly do have a lot going on…and I hope & pray that God sustains you through all of it!
Blessings,
