Hey there! Hope you're having a blessed Easter Sunday! After church, we are having some of Mark's family and his mother for dinner, and our kids and grand kids. This year Easter falls on Marks' moms' 88th birthday so we are celebrating both today!

I will share her birthday card tomorrow, but today I have this card I created using Blessed By God and the Sunburst Thinlets Die:

I started with a Lost Lagoon card base, then added Gold Glimmer. Next a layer of vellum embossed with the Softly Falling folder. The next layer is Gold Foil cut with the Sunburst Thinlets Die, followed by a double-punched 2 3/8" Scallop Circle of Pool Party that was then embossed with the Softly Falling folder.  I finished off the card with a gold-embossed cross on Gold Foil  and a gold-embossed CELEBRATE on vellum. I hand-cut the CELEBRATE banner with my Paper Snips.

Here's a quick tutorial to create the sunburst:

1. Punch card stock with the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch. Stick the circle on a Post-It Note.

2. Use the Post-it Note to help you insert the scallop circle in to the same punch, off-setting the card stock so the scallops of the punch will punch a bite out of each scallop:

3. When you take the card stock out of the punch and remove the Post-It Note you have a "sunburst"!

Inside I used simple layers of Gold Foil, Pool Party, and vellum gold-embossed with the Suite Sayings sentiment:
